Luis M. Ferrer Medina.
On 2002, Mr. Ferrer
Medina obtained a
Bachelor’s degree in
Accounting and Finances
from the University of
Puerto Rico, Río Piedras
Campus. Thereafter, he
pursued a legal career
at the Interamerican
University School of Law
where he obtained a
Juris Doctor degree, cum
laude, in June, 2005.
Mr. Ferrer Medina
obtained a Masters in
Law in Litigation and
Dispute Resolution from
the George Washington
University Law School on
2006.
His current practice
includes the counseling
and litigation of labor
and employment matters.
He is concerned with
representing and
protecting the interests
of employers before
federal and local
administrative forums
such as the Conciliation
and Arbitration Bureau
of the P.R. Department
of Labor, the U.S. Equal
Employment Opportunity
Commission, and the
Antidiscrimination Unit
of the local Department
of Labor. He also
handles appellate
practice. Mr. Ferrer
Medina is admitted to
practice before the
Courts of Puerto Rico,
the United States
District Court for the
District of Puerto Rico
and United States Court
of Appeals for the First
Circuit. He is a member
of, among others, the
American Bar Association
and the Puerto Rico Bar
Association.
